I respectfully disagree.

I’m not saying make them millionaires but £80k a year isn’t going to convince everyone with exceptional talents, to come and run the country.

It’s also why the criticisms of the likes of Jarvis are unfounded in my opinion, the bloke could be earning millions elsewhere.

Never really thought of this before but Labour's proposals were an extra 5% tax for anyone earning over £80,000 a year. And MPs pay is from next year £79,468. Coincidence? Maybe.
