Or maybe he knows the difference between a serious regional development plan, and a few more crumbs off the table for political expediency.
Well - based on the evidence to date……..
He does not even know that it is good sense to read beyond the headlines of the links that he chooses to post
But I am sure that he does not need you to speak on his behalf - your input here does not offer any insight other than to your own very narrow bias and prejudices
As I consider myself to be a potentially 'genuine Labour supporter' - you know - someone who would like to see the party to be in a position of power and therefore to be able to bring forward and implement policy as opposed to, seemingly like you, some purist leftie that is content to be simply part of a protest group - I would be somewhat anxious about Johnson taking the opportunity that he now has to take advantage of the damage done to the LP by Corbyn, Momentum and people like you.
I would be anxious that - with minimal effort - he could do things in the coming months that would give evidence to long-standing Labour voters doing of him doing more for the regions than Labour have done or are likely to in a position to do for a long time - and thereby see the fracturing of the 'red wall' become a full-scale landslide.
I doubt Labour can ever recover in Scotland from what has taken place......
I can see the same happening in the Midlands and North if the party does not soon wake up and stop heeding idiotic and narrow-minded protestors who cannot even visit, let alone live in, the real world
I expect nothing other from you but to try and obfuscate in your insecurity - or is it more lack of awareness or the recklessness of purism
I consider myself to be of the profile of someone that is more of a genuine Labour Party supporter - rather than some ideological narrow thinker like you.
Therefore I am concerned to see Labour develop towards being electable - at least being a genuine opposition/alternative and able to influence/bring forward and implement policies rather than just further entrench into a purist protest group.
Once the momentum towards a marginalised party is established it will become unstoppable. Thankfully the LibDems were trounced at the GE - but 5-10 years from now I predict that either they or Labour will be an effective Centre-Left opposition and that it will be the appointment of the next Labour leader that will determine which one
