This forum and these threads in the politics subforum are totally left dominated IMO - it is not even remotely balanced

This is also reflected in the - let's be polite and call it 'fervour' - in the posting styles

It is so unbalanced that centrist people like myself - from a totally Labour supporting background - get labelled 'right-wing'. I think that is simply because of the extent to which so many are strongly left-wing and are quick to brand anyone not as extreme as them to be right-wingers

Probably the best of a bad bunch but looking at his voting record I struggle to see him as too much of a sympathetic character.

He'd win a general election, but won't win the Tory leadership.

As a Leave voter, I'd actually vote for him as well. Some things (like the environment) are more important than Brexit, and I tend to have a more conservative view on the economy and government.

Basically, we need more political parties.
