So voters in Newark place people in boats over inflation - rising fuel prices - rising child poverty - collapsing schools and hospitals etc etc

Jenrick says small boats crisis a 'national emergency'

We can bring you more now from Jenrick's resignation letter to the Prime Minister.
In it, he says he has been "pushing for the strongest piece of emergency legislation" to ensure that under the Rwanda policy the government can stop as many small boats arriving to Britain "as swiftly as possible".
He writes that the small boats crisis is a "national emergency" that is doing "untold damage to our country".
He says he is unable to take the proposed emergency legislation through the Commons as he does "not believe it provides us with the best possible chance for success".
His letter continues: "A bill of the kind you are proposing is a triumph of hope over experience. The stakes for the country are too high for us not to pursue the stronger protections required to end the merry-go-round of legal challenges which risk paralysing the scheme and negating its intended deterrent."

Untold damage to our country ffs.

I think the next polls will make very interesting reading, in the kindset of it seems most of the parliamentary self servatives, small boats are the only important thing going on in the country, from what i see, the NHS waiting lists, cost of groceries, schools atbrisk of falling down, doctors, teachers, public transport strikes will resonate more strongly with most of the electorate, and all of them (as well as numerous other issues) are as a directconsequence of Tory misrule

He's talking about himself and his self serving buddies.

We've had 13 years of gangsterism, there's no other word for it.
Plus he is MP for Newark, which is crypto-fascist central.

The problem with the likes of Jenrick and Braverman is that they believe (or choose to believe) that the views of 60% of their constituents are the vox pop of the entire nation.
