The Creeping Gentrification of City

I agree, admission to City games should be soley reserved for working class men in their 40s and 50s.

There were never any middle class people at City when I was stood on the Kippax in the 80's and 90's.

Apart from me, obviously.

I felt like Robinson Crusoe at times.

I heard a family from Wilmslow snuck in to the Main Stand around 1995, they had all of their Marks and Spencer's jumpers confiscated and politely asked to never come back.

Nothing polite ever emanated from the Main Stand!

So two years ago my son (11 at the time) by your reckoning should've been denied the chance to get a Wembley ticket? He attended all the cup home and away games that season when many blues couldn't be arsed. Why should he have missed out?
As for this season, again he's built up the points but may not qualify in his own right. This has nothing to do with having more money, this is to do with him getting the chance to go with me a person who has built up a decent number of loyalty points over the years and whose points are bound to far exceed his.

OP has a point which is similar to the one I made last week.

I don't have a problem with Cup Schemers getting priority or kids getting in with parents etc. but the kick in the bollox is the Cup Schemers getting priority ABOVE people with more loyalty points, this is different to the criteria set out in 2011 hence why people are kicking off.

What's the saying? 'Until the pips squeak'?

Got us by the bollox from here on in, the snidey ploy is to get more ST holders on the Cup Schemes next season, more like THEM every day.

Cup schemers were prioritised last time. In fact they were promoted to the top regardless of points

I have a City lambs wool jumper so does that qualify me as a Hooray Henry?
Given the fact that some on here laughably describe me as "posh" I reckon in their eyes, it makes you a fully paid up member of the Bullingdon Club.

This wasn't you on the left the day you signed up for Junior Blues was it?

I have been outed after all these years. Ivan Gazidis was a Blue in his Oxforf first 11 days but he wasnt posh enough for me to let him in the Bullingdon Club

Welcome to the world of success.

Tough titty I say if you want us to win things then tickets will be harder to get simple as.

Yes. I could get my inflatable banana in the case. Ideal for whacking Cameron and Osbourne when they were neglecting their fagging duties. They were often slow in Feeding the Goat.
