The Darts 20/21

Hats off to Fallon Sherlock, the First Ladies darts player to get to the second round. Cracking performance that.

Flicked over after enjoying the Dipper kids getting guffed and managed to see this. Watched from her being 2-1 down and it was a great performance from her, bar the leg she had the throw to win before she eventually did, but that surely was nerves.

Hope she beats Sulijavic (sp) in the next round too. Can’t stand him. He’s so slow and annoying to watch. The Hungarian Justin Pipe.

He is boring to watch. Must be hard to play against too at that pace. Hope she beats him!

Only just found out. It must be a mental thing as to why women don't match men at sports like darts and snooker, the pressure of being the first to compete and win. Always been surprised they don't do mixed doubles games in these sports. Hopefully this is the start of a breakthrough.

Delighted for her and the history she has made but its horrible how patronising the crowd are towards the female players, you can tell its just the lads lads lads brigade.

You must have been watching a different game to me, everyone was on her side and booing her opponent

Wonder if height plays a part? I’m guessing the height of dart boards and snooker tables was agreed many years ago based on a mans average height as they were both traditionally played by men.

The number of youngsters coming through too is incredible although with the prize money on offer I’m not surprised.
