They win trophies almost every season, are in the top four every season and play in the Champions league every season. No need to go into us.

They've always had money. Now we've got more money than them, with this scenario set to continue as long as ADUG own us.

Madrid have always attracted the top players. Something we will be able to do in the future. Depending......

They've sacked just as many managers as we have over the years, yet they still win trophies, end up in the top four and end up in the Champions League. We've done the same, yet replaced them with other Managers who haven't won anything, are tactically inept and can't attract big name players. The list goes on. Hughes.

Am I bothered about Hughes getting the sack? No. As long as he is replaced by a quality manager who is tactically clued up, has won domestic and/or European trophies (that winning mentality) and will attract top class players because of who he is.

It works for Madrid. It can work for City.

PS. Once this winning manager is found, then we should stick with him and keep him for as long as possible.

Comparing the worlds biggest club to a club like ours is ridiculous.

Succcess breeds success. We've had none for 30 odd years. Can't really compare the two from a managerial perspective just yet.

You missed out the weather.

"Hello Mr Star Player,we can offer you two deals. One is 100k a week playing for a team in the Prem but it always rains there, the other is 100k a week with loads of bikini girls dancing and shit, thrown in".

We all have to start somewhere, I'm sure when teams like Liverpool where started, they could have done the same thing against Preston, will we ever be as successful?

I'm not comparing.

I'm saying that sacking managers does bring success. Real Madrid are the proof. The directors and the fans of Real Madrid expect success. Nothing more, nothing less. If the manager isnt successful, he is sacked. The new manager instantly knows where the benchmark is and he knows what is expected. So do the players. That winning mentallity comes down from the boardroom, on to the terraces and ultimately on to the pitch.

I expect for my 100k a week to have a sort of "Shit cleaner uper in a bikini" in the contract.Or,As Oliver Reed had in his house, one big room, fully tilled and sloping to a hole in the middle of the floor.Apparently he just stood at the top and did what he needed to do.Once a day it was slussed out.

Did the weather stop the one trick pony? Did it stop Rob? Did it stop Torres? No! Has it stopped a host of star players from signing for the Rags, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. No! Don't believe the bullshit stories about the weather and rain putting players off. Most players will put up with a bit of rain for the duration of their contracts, as long as they know they're playing in a successful team and are guaranteed CPL football.

Anyway. When was the last time it rained in Manchester? Has to be at least 2 weeks now. Whilst in Madrid it has been pissing it down.

The rain in Spain falls mainly on Madrid. And it's cold over there during the winter months as well. Get a grip Micheal frost.
