Someone asked on reddit what position had the biggest gap between starter and backup a while back and its unquestionably goalkeeper. With all due respect to Steffen, he has conceded a surprising number of avoidable goals.
 
Hate playing without him, guy is class in his aproach, manner and skill, a first on team sheet.

Heard some idiots have slagged the guy off on some social media platform. . Who ever you are you are pathetic. Go away
 
our style of play demands a keeper who sets us up, if we don't have a keeper who can play we don't do what we do , his footwork and passing are out of this world, his vision and execution again out of this world, there is nothing wrong with his shot stopping what so ever , hes good with crosses and as brave as a lion, couldn't ask for a better keeper for what is required from our keeper.

He’s fucking mustard!

I’d go as far to say that he’s suited to our team more than any player we have, and he’s suited to his position in our team more than any other goalkeeper in the world.

Some say that if we didn’t have Pep we should go for another keeper but everyone forgets that every team in the world plays the same sport as us and his qualities would be undeniable to any team.
