"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" 11/11/11.

Did the golden claw mission last night and it was a blast. Took me ages to work out the puzzle was on the claw! Took Sven with me as well which was good and he helped me. In wndhelm at the moment,nicked a horse! Talking to everyone to get side missions,already have about 20 lined up and not even talked to the jar yet. This game is epic its going to eat up my social life for the next few months!

Not a fan of how they've taken agility out, one of the best things about Morrowind was being a super agile Khajit and seeing all the ridiculous places you try and get yourself.

And my computer seems to be struggling a little with the graphics unfortunately, it plays ok on low.

Uh, it's fairly old i think (i actually can't remember how long i've had it) Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT.

It's awesome!! Too early to compare towards Oblivion.... but the extra bits of combat they've added is awesome e.g double handed spell cast (you can either cast one spell on both hands or 2 different spells at the same time), kill blows.......

The whole level up system has changed and now you get perks on ever level up instead of increasing your intelligance ect. every skill has a perk including Armour (Heavy/Light) which increase it's damage resistance..........

You can help people by chopping wood, mining for ore and your weapons and Armour do not downgrade (health) in Skyrim unlike they did in Oblivion........

Also to add extra value you can now craft your own Armour and Weapons (obviously you need caertain material for certain weapons)...

You know what! I might get slated for this but I believe Skyrim WILL infact turn out to be a far superiour game then Oblivion...... There I said it!

There's your problem you have a GeForce 9 series your running on minimum specs, you need a GeForce 200 series or higher to run recommended specs...

The recommended GPU for Skyrim are:

Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher
or
ATI Radeon 4890 or higher

It actually works quite well on medium settings now i've got rid of the other monitor.
 
seriously does anyone have any tips on how to shrink it to my TV? i can't see the direction arrow thing at the top of the screen... only realised there was one when i saw my mate playing it on his tv

there should be a button on your remote that changes the picture view

I got my arse kicked at level 5 lol!!

6 hours in and still not done any of the main quests, still in Whiterun

I got a little ambitious and saw the massive mammoths. Thought fuck it, i'll go and rip them to shreds! Fuck me, i shat myself and ended up legging it halfway across the map. Ran in circles around a stone table thing for ages and scared the life out of me when 2 of them went round different ways.

i did the same got killed though... you seen a giant yet? one hit kills they're awful

and i tried all the setting on my remote :(
 
Stumbled across a wee monument thing with 2 mages and a fire atronach just circling it. I thought, hmm, I'll have them, they must have some goodies.
[*]Effort one: Utterly shat on by them
[*]Effort two: Sneakily try and take them out, also shat on
[*]Effort 11: I give up.

I also managed to steal a nifty looking Elven Bow from the Companions which looks pretty sexy :)

great game.

It's good fun but not looking forward to seeing those trolls... i'll literally poo myself if it's a small cave. Still haven't seen the giants but i look forward to welcoming to my house. Talking of houses, costs 5,000 for one! :O
