The FA hand out 3 match ban to Vidic for violent conduct

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic was banned for his club's next three matches as a result of an elbow on the head of Boltons Johan Elmander at the weekend.

Announcing the ruling, the Football Association said the ban would be applied immediately, ruling Nemanja Vidic out of Sunday's big game against Chelsea.
