Just watched one of the most beautiful and beguiling films ever,
The Fall....(directed by Tarsem, director of REM's "Losing My Religion" promo and the Surreal Dalianesque film, "The Cell").

It's a wild, lush, audacious, opulent and tender fantasy which can only be described as a mix of Terry Gillian, Cinema Paradiso, Pan's Labyrinth, and some.

you deserve a response to this ,went to see it yesterday

fantastic a bit santa sangre a bit pan's labyrinth a bit arabian nights

an adult fairy tale centring round a fella telling a young girl an adventure story whilst on a morphine trip

visually breathtaking

thanks for the tip

I was beginning to wonder ...... if it was anyone cup of tea.

watched three times now....

Something will have to drop from the sky to better this fantasy.....this year.

Although I am looking forward to Aronofsky's "The Wrestler"........Rourke is tipped for Oscar nomination nod.

Did anyone see the Piers Morgan interview with Rourke last week?
