Joe Abercrombie is my favourite fantasy author at the moment. Can't recommend him enough.

I have honestly never read anything he's written but always pick the books up in a bookshop, is there a certain series worth reading, I've just finished all the Witcher books

Supernatural

Yeah ofcourse I've seen them all, carry on my wayward son, I am completely lost without them and the reason I love them is they give you like 21 episodes, not these shitty 6 episode series that they make these days.

Edit: it needed more Crowley

Yep over 20 episodes each season. Love hope it evolved over the course of the series. Not really many shows around that I can delve into like that. None that I haven't already seen

Almost every TV Series adapted from a fantasy novel series has been a letdown (at some point) so far for me. Legend of the Seeker. The Dresden Files, The Shannara Chronicles, GoT (ending), Wheel of Time.

Only exceptions (so far) have been Stranger Things & The Witcher though there's still time on both of these as they're still ongoing projects and I've not read any Witcher books as yet but just picked up a boxset of 8 books recently.

Well 15 years is a long time to put into a TV show, I enjoyed the ending though and Chuck was a prick
