They saved a lot of money on the Wheel series by not hiring any writers or actors tbf. Had to turn it off after about 3 episodes it was so badI wonder how much they spent on the Wheels first season, 500m wow
On the book side of things, surprisingly a lot if the Warhammer books are surprisingly good. They don't really seem attached to the geeky wargamibg figures, just classic high fantasy adventures. The Gotrek and Felix series I particularly enjoyed

Captain Scarlet. Not Thunderbirds.When I was young I was torn between Lady Penelope and Marina.
As I got older I realised I was being a bit silly and decided that any of the lady pilots on Thunderbirds was what I really wanted.

Good period coming-up for Tolkien material - Fosters updated Guide to ME, illustrated Silmarillion, ROP on tv plus this 2nd Age Numenor book.

Yeah, Sci fi never has really done much for me. The hirus heresy books appeal a bit just because there are a million of them so if I could get I to them I'd be set for ages, but I just don't really care about the space catholicsI love the normal Warhammer but not 4k, I just can't get into it for some reason
