The finest premier league team ever, the finest championship team ever, greatest FA cup team ever

I can’t disagree with either.

The Keegan promotion side was fantastic. Ali B and Eyal pulling the strings; The Goat, Wanchope and Huckerby scoring goals for fun. Just amazing.

The only bad thing about it was that I missed most of it, as I was spending a semester each in Germany and France as part of my degree course.

The Centurions side was unbelievable 32 victories; 50 points at home and away, and all achieved with a makeshift left-back in Fabian Delph for most of the season.

However, the Fourmidables side was also brilliant, and I can’t decide which one was the better.

Always remember no side can win with two playmakers .....apart from us.

What the fuck is no history?

We made it with Ali/Berko. We were fucking awesome at times.

Think the Reading team of 05/06 and the Newcastle team of 09/10 would disagree with you RE: Keegan's City being the best Championship side.

Keegan’s 2001-02 team finished with 99 points. Five teams have won the Championship (or whatever name the second tier was using at the time) with 100 or more points in the PL era.
I loved that team and most entertaining is hard to argue with but not the best ever in that division.

I remember Chelsea getting 99 points in Division 2 in 1989 one place above us. Clive Wilson too.

When it went wrong it did go badly wrong letting 4 in against several teams under Keegan in Div 1, improving as the season went on as the pressure lifted and SWP hit is straps. Then the anti-climax at Gillingham, Keegan saying he had signed past it Peter Schmeichel, who was up there with Keane and Neville.

I thought the 2018/19 team was the peak with 98 despite getting more the year before. I don't think we have reached the level of that season since.
