The first ever football game you watched

First game I remember watching was the World Cup final of 78, one were I actually remember the game I was 9, I’m not having that people can remember when they are 5/6 that they remember the details of a game they went to, you might remember going but I can’t believe you remember the game itself. These days with phones etc I suppose ot will be different to show you those memories.

First game with my eyes was 50 years ago today - aged 10 and the only game I ever went to with my dad,
My dad was an Altrincham Grammer boy and had absolutely no interest in sport whatsoever.
My mum (Moss Side born and bred) and her side of the family were the Blues in the family.
We moved from Warrington to Coventry when I was younger so my first City game was at Cov and not Maine Road.

That's unbelievable,was just on Facebook a second ago and someone just put all the results up from that weekend lost 2-1.

Unless they’re at my mums, I don’t believe I have programmes I re-bought for Blackpool and Swindon but they were my first two homes and aways with City.

I’ve often just been happy we’re not that bad now.
