The Five Friday Night City Quiz Challenge

Tim Flowers is the other one who started his career at Wolves I think, although he never made an appearance for us so not sure if he counts ala David Brooks

edit : was Hargreaves playing for England in 2001 for question 3?

Tim Flowers is correct and get's in because he made the bench around 12 times during 2002/03 season. :-)

Hargreaves is also correct

Ah was on the right lines with Taylor just a decade too late for reserve keepers. Forget Hargreaves was getting called up so early while he was at Bayern aswell.

Can anyone name the Manchester City player who is mentioned in a Beatles song (and the song itself)?

Wigan, Lyon, Monaco
Arsenal
Uwe, Martin O Neill,
Gerry Gow
Fashanu, Francis , Christie

Wigan, Lyon, Bayer Leverkusen, Celtic, that Saudi lot.

Chelsea - just after Black Wednesday, was one down and Ricky Holden got a head injury, they took him off early at HT to treat him, so conceded another and 2-0 down.

O'Neill, Rosler, Viera.

Chelsea 0-1 – 20/09/92 - Rick Holden clashed heads with Terry Phelan - Mick Hartford for Chelsea with the only goal of the game.

It is but it’s not Gerry Gow ;-)

I wondered if Yaya got 2 yellows but in a league cup final vs Liverpool?
One right at the end, and maybe one for removing his shirt after scoring the deciding penalty - not sure if the card was shown, but yellows don't carry into shootouts. Wrong tournament though.

Q4: I’m thinking a player who played in consecutive cup finals 34/35 55/56. Am I on the right track?!?
