The Ghosts of Derbys Past

Shame as it didn't give the date - we played the rags at home in February (80/81 season) and October 81/82. My guess is it is October as fans don't seem to be wearing that many coats and jackets! Also a distinct lack of shaved heads compared to today!

The February game was on my 18th birthday - Steve Mackenzie giving me a great present :)

It is the October game, Tommy Caton didn't play in the Feb match. Finished 0-0 coincidentally.

Love that second photo watching one of my all time City heroes,a certain Nicky Reid, with Steve Mac behind him.
Have a look at 3rd photo from the end Oakie remember the other day I mentioned the butcher's on the corner of Maine Rd and clairmont rd,it was called Bowdens it must of closed about 7 or 8 year's after that photo was taken. The shop started selling city stuff,I remember buying a shirt after the 5-1 against the rags 89.
