GMP have upload these great pictures from the 1981 Derby it was just a little before my time but there are some great images, I wonder how many of those Blues are still with us

Shame as it didn't give the date - we played the rags at home in February (80/81 season) and October 81/82. My guess is it is October as fans don't seem to be wearing that many coats and jackets! Also a distinct lack of shaved heads compared to today!

The February game was on my 18th birthday - Steve Mackenzie giving me a great present :)

FUCK OFF !! ;) Thats even 4 years before even I was born mate and when gates were gates.Swales would have still said there were only 33,000 attending.There looks about that many in the Score Board End.

Have a look at 3rd photo from the end Oakie remember the other day I mentioned the butcher's on the corner of Maine Rd and clairmont rd,it was called Bowdens it must of closed about 7 or 8 year's after that photo was taken.The shop started selling city stuff,I remember buying a shirt after the 5-1 against the rags 89.
