Shaun Goater has eyes on making a return to his beloved City.
The fans favourite flew in from his native Bermuda to watch Tuesday night’s Carling Cup derby semi-final, and revealed that once he has his coaching badges his dream would be return to the club he graced for five years.

The Goat still keeps a keen eye on the Blues from afar and sends in his prgramme notes for all our home games, but once through his A-Licence qualification he is dreaming of helping out here once again in the future.

“I miss the game, so I’ve got to start and get myself back in somewhere at youth level. We’re talking a few years down the line, but I want to get the licence and myself involved again.

“I still keep myself involved in and around the club, my heart’s still City. It’s just great to be involved at the club at whatever level.”

The Goat had lots more to say, and you can see the full interview on this site now by clicking here.

Can't we have him on the berti, ready to run up and down the side of the pitch, when Chuckle pops his head out of Baconface's arse?

Be interesting to see if we did take him on once he has that A Licence

Never get tired his first goal in this game

Not that it needs repeating, but having just watched the video I've been reminded of what a legend the Goat is. Absolutely love that guy. Just had to share my feelings...

Saw a flag hanging from the second tier in the East Stand on Tuesday, not seen it before, with the Goat's picture and a message to Gayboy Neville 'The Goat got fed Ha Ha Ha'

FEED THE GOAT AND HE WILL SCORE.

I used to love that chant. A real legend...I remember when he scored the equalizer at Blackburn in 2000 when we won 4-1 to go up. I think I actually turned into an emotional wreck when that went in as I knew we'd go on to win and being back in the Prem after all the crap we'd put up with was amazing. That goal still sends a shiver down my spine in the same way Dickov's at Wembley does.
