All jokes aside, there will be many MPs stood down at the next election by their electorates, but I think there are also going to be quite a few, some quite capable Parliamentarians, who choose to stand down at the next election simply because they have become so disillusioned with the system and politics in general. It will therefore be interesting to see the make up of the next Parliament and not just in terms of party numbers.
