Leicester was a brilliant story, probably once in a lifetime occurrence.

But they’re absolutely nowhere near the top 5 English sides ever imo.

I love this treble winning team, and the fact it’s off the back of winning 3 titles on the bounce is just absolutely extraordinary, and I think gives them a legitimate claim as best ever.

But for me the Centurions team was better. I don’t think a league season that dominant, with football that beautiful, will ever be repeated.

I agree on the Centurions at least from a domestic point of view.

I’m reminded how totally nuts 100 points is every year. More often than not by half way through the season it’s already impossible to match. It’s a freak achievement, in my opinion it will be rarer than going unbeaten. I can see somebody else doing that eventually. But I can’t see anybody getting 100 pts (except maybe us again).

It should actually be possible to work out statistically which is harder to do. Might take that on as a pet project.

Last night's win has really affected united fans more than I expected. A couple of normally level-headed friends proper saw their arses, bringing up the charges for the first time. I didn't realise how much pride they took in their treble

I agree and i'm sure we will be having this conversation plenty of times when the great man leaves.
We have seen great Pep teams every season and i'm loving every moment, but from a footballing point of view, i think that was the better team, I loved that team!
We have witnessed many unforgettable moments these past 6/7 seasons, but being at Southampton thinking we would come up just short, to then score a great goal like to get the 100 points, that was unbelievable!
