I like the fact that England have gone back to basics with their strip now but surely the Italia '90 and the World Cup '66 strips were the definitive England kits. I can't believe that this writer has picked the 1982 England strip over the red 1966 shirt, in this list of the greatest ever World Cup kits.

france deserve a mention....just not this year! ;)
scotland had a lovely second kit in italia`90. (they always have a cool kit!)
england `90 was a nice jersey too.
sorry but as a neutral i have to say the italians always have cool kits,they got style oozing in all directions....my favourite being italia `90!! classy silk-ish!

I'm glad Peru was voted first because I had the Subbuteo team when I was a nipper.
The Dutch 78 kit is cool as. Iconic and stylish.

England 90'. Bought it last week, i was born in 93' but its such an iconic shirt, we were so close. The shot of Gaza crying sums everything about that shirt up for me.

Your right about the Cnut in the picture probably the only picture of him in 1982 where his arm or leg werent hanging off he was fuckin injury prone.
