The guilt of spending..........

What's wrong with that? Be thankful you don't drive a beemer like myself (quickly runs for the hills...)
I did, my previous car was a BMW 5 series M Sport. the only problem was my Mrs refused to drive it, which was a pain if we were at the pub and I fancied a sesh.
I traded for a new Volvo XC90 and I have to confess its the most comfortable drive I have ever had, also my Mrs is at one with it as well.
My only criticism is it could do with a bit more oomph when overtaking.

Exactly, now go out and get that Bentley
I will have a word with the Mrs when she is in a bit of a better mood.
If I tell her if we order some time this week it should be ready for the 1st Of March and its perfect timing , we have a 2 year bond maturing at the end of this month.

Good for you

M Sports are incredible. I love my 3 series but want to upgrade eventually.

Nobody should feel guilty about treating themselves if they've worked hard for it. So go and treat yourself before the the man in the black cloak calls!

In all honesty it's a weird one for me. I have money, I have savings. The Wife has the same. As I'm supposed to be dying what do I do? Spend it all? Spend some? Spend nothing? My idea all along was to leave it all to her so her life is more comfortable when I'm gone. But without me she'll be fine, savings, head teacher pension etc etc. We have no kids. No mortgage. No debts. And yet I get guilty. Not on the small stuff like records but other more expensive things I don't need. A new motorbike. Lovely. But it's money on something I don't really need plus extra paperwork for her when I'm gone.

Good luck with it all mate. Can’t you whack everything on the never never and it get wiped once you’ve gone? Or does she have to pay it? Not sure how it works in all honesty.
