It needed a lot of work not just decoration , it was being done on tax payers money but the couple paid it back , 2 million quid is structural not wallpaper , they should be given the money back as they are being thrown out

They’re not being thrown out. They live in the states and to have a house at taxpayers expense sitting idle is criminal. Just don’t give it to the nonce. It’s a royal residence and they aren’t royals

It was their uk base , they stayed there for the funeral and the jubilee, presumably they would have stayed there for the coronation , lots of royal residences are empty all the time , one of the nonces daughters was staying there recently , it needs no work for the taxpayer to pay for , if it hadnt involved the couple which people love to hate nobody would be bothered about it and it was a gift from the queen that they pay commercial rent on

It’s all being tied up to the book publication but it could just as easily be Harry saying he’s not coming back.
Clarkson wrote an appalling piece on Meghan why would Harry bring his family back with the threat from nutcases throwing things or worse, I wouldn’t want my family subjected to the vitriol Meghan had to put up with.

About a year ago, Alisatair Campbell said on his podcast that senior people connected to the palace told him the Royals feel they need to be in the news every few weeks to stay relevant and maintain their position.

Since then I’ve seen this thread get bumped every 1 or 2 months like clockwork.

January we had the Book, February the bathtub shite, this will be March’s episode of The Windsors.

There’s no reason for the Palace to leak they’ve kicked the Sussexes out of the cottage except to generate controversy, it’s as transparent as Ian Fleming’s estate announcing a rewrite 1 week after rewriting books dominated the news.
