ha just seen this, me and my dad were amongst those 17k that day- dug the programme outUnlike many City fans, I actually prefer Tottenham to most of the other London clubs.
However, I recently stumbled upon a curious statistic from our 2-0 victory at White Hart Lane in January 1986, which as it transpired, was our last away victory for almost two years, until we beat Bradford 4-2 in October 1987.
The attendances for those two games
Tottenham 17,009
Bradford 14,819
So the First Division fixture at Spurs was only 2,190 higher than the capacity crowd at Second Division Bradford.
CL = transfer to a better club in the summer?? I'm confused...seems like the players gave up very early on in the league, and have put all their eggs into the CL basket.
Agree. Real have not been the same this season and Dortmund these days are a slightly above average team. On Paper spurs have had a real tough group but in reality they've come up against two sides badly out of form.I don't think they've been that impressive in Europe, Dortmund have been dreadful, and Real have had their problems.
Quite. Put all the money saved up for Messi on Harry Kane.Kane would guarantee us the title for the next 3 years. Hope the club have him at the top of their list of targets.
