Spurs 2018/19

If the game was switched to the Etihad and Spurs cover policing costs, I'd think we'd be happy with that.

It seems unlikely the Spurs stadium will be ready for us to visit at the end of Oct, and Wembley have an NFL game on.

The reported four alternatives are:
Reschedule the match, 24 hours earlier at Wembley, but getting the stadium ready for the NFL game could be difficult.

Reschedule the match, at some other point, which could take ages if both clubs have champs, league and cup runs.

Reverse the fixture - it becomes a City home game at the Etihad Stadium. The premier league don't seem to be happy with this, as it would mean we'd have 4 away games in the last 5 of the season which they consider unfair for us.

Spurs find a third home ground for our game against them. If the premier league allow this we could end up playing anywhere!!

They are forgetting a fifth alternative - give us the points as they've messed up.

There's no way the NFL will let them play at Wembley 24 hours before! There's so much build up and pre game and half time stuff for the London games I'd be surprised if they weren't using the pitch in some capacity on the Saturday, whether it's practice, dress rehearsals, media stuff etc.

Barnet or Leyton Orient it is then

Or the 6th option. Match played on pitch with no crowd. Imagine a zero attendance!

A few issues at Spurs:

1) Rose, Alderweireld, Eriksen out of contract
2) No transfers in
3) Stadium delays
4) Season-ticket price hike.

When you get a whole series of issues like this it suggests poor management.
