Just seen a bit of his press interview on SSN and he didnt pull any Punches.
he said what we all think and for one I thank him.
Of Pele he said he should go back to a museum and platini is a typical frenchman who thinks he knows it all...

The guy's a fucking idiot. Pablo Zabaleta's words, not mine. Although I wholeheartedly agree with him.

To dismiss the guys sublime talent and ignore his passionate personality over something that happened nearly a quarter of a century ago is petty. If you were to blank out his hand of god moment you would see a truly wonderful footballer, one in my opinion whose talents were without previous equal and have yet to be bettered since. And no, I'm not a sweaty. Oh and hes right Platini is a twat.

Dubai Blue, could mad pabs words have anything to do with his continued ommision from the Argie squad?
 
A fantastic player....... no argument there.

However its all about him, everything he does revolves about himself.

Strutting around before the game for the cameras and he is loving the limelight, thinks its his time again at this world cup.

As for Zabas comments, he is not alone amongst the Argentinian players, look at the faces of the team when he starts talking, even blanked him as they walked off at half time in last game.

At least he is prepared to say a few truths to Platini ...... wanker

couldn't care less about robinho, the topic post was about maradonna and his quotes on pele and platini.

maradonna never had the impact on football pele did.
pele could use 2 feet and his head, not one foot and his hand.
pele's goalscoring record is far superior.
pele wasn't a drug cheat, or even just a cheat like maradonna was
pele won more world cup medals than maradonna.

if you want more reasons, there's plenty.
 
I love Diego. By far the greatest player I've ever seen, and his reactions on the touchline show just how much football means to him. Might just be insane enough to go and win the whole damn tournament.

Digging the beard too, easily the coolest looking manager at the World Cup.
 
To be fair to him, Pele had a dig at him, he was only responsing and we all know Pele loves his own voice.

Good thing the world cup wasnt in Italy as i dont think Maradonna would go back there as he owes over 31 million in taxes to the Italians

Without a doubt. It was in Abu Dhabi and he was pretty pissed off not to be in Argentina with Tevez and the rest of them. But he said he's as batshit crazy in private as he appears to be to the outside world.

He's the greatest player ever, no doubt about it in my mind, but I despise cheats and his reputation will always be tarnished for me. The same goes for Henry.
