The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

Some prick in an SUV just turned up at mine and told my butler that as we were less fortunate than him he was dropping off some essentials for us, no caviar, no Dom Perignom, no truffles, apparently panic buyers had took the lot. To cap it all the plank scratched my Bentley as he was driving off the drive. Luckily I got his car number off the security camera I have on the gate house.

I really could do with nipping out for a few items tomorrow a loaf and some sundries, tempted to go forst thing at 6am to hopefully avoid the idiots, but expect them to be there even then and also don't want to be lumped in with themm by asociation.

Bit then if I go later said numpties will probabaly have cleaned out what I need, amd also I need to go when there is less people because of me needing to SD

I am torn when is the best time to go now.

And I blame all the hoarders for my indecision.

I’d check the opening times of your local stores.
Our major supermarket, Asda, has cut hours to 8 until 8, which obviously squashes more in due to the four hour reduction

Might as well go early before all the lazy cunts get up.

I would go for looking at corner shops or somewhere like McColls which are less popular and have more stock in, apart from loo roll and dettol wipes I got everything I wanted today.

Aye got one at the end of the street, and ldil is 5 mins walk away too, they are my first options, but some was hoping to do a very early morning walk around debdale for some exercise as it should be empty and I can avoid people, tesco would be on the way home.

Can fuck off the exercise though and just go to the end of the street.

I should think you could fit both in?

Ours used to open at 6 so i used to go between 7 and 8 and it was nice and quiet.
Last Thursday In got there at 6 and people were queuing up outside. When we got in they all made for the pasta and tins, it was carnage. We just went for the fresh fruit and veg and alcohol.

Gonna start getting meat order of local butcher decent deals and none ov the supermarket madness , corner shops for other essentials

Meat, fish, fruit and veg along with milk and eggs now all being delivered by local shops and businesses.

Bread as from tomorrow will be baked fresh every day in our oven.

Off out panic buying tomorrow after work, or maybe later in the week if I can't be arsed. Need to get a shopping list together I suppose.
