The "Im not going to wembers thread"

I couldn't give a shit why people don't go to certain matches. it's all about choice and just because you don't go it doesn't make anybody a lesser fan !

But those who don't go because 'it means nothing', don't you ever complain about not getting a ticket or low attendances for cup games as you are just like those that stay away from them.

I would love to be going, i went to both the semi and the final last year and ive not missed a home game in around 8 year and try and do atleast 5 away games a season. However, finances mean i will unfortuanetly be missing a highly important game, this does not feel meaningless to me. Im gettin the same butterfly feelings i do before every derby game and it carries the same importance of local pride and bragging rights etc.

For people to claim it is meaningless, not aimed at anyone in particular, is a bit of a joke really. Granted im only 26, but this is the 1st time in my lifetime that city have had the privelige to be invited to play in the charity shield. And I, for one, am gutted I wont be able to go.
