The January Transfer thread.

January Transfer Window

So, what do we all think? Who/what do we need to strengthen?

Anyone out there who's heard about possible comings & goings?

DDR apparantly nailed on

Re: January Transfer Window

Someone will take this seriously

Me! I don't think we'll ever buy 6 players in a window again. It will be tinkering from now on.

Does anyone see a weakness in this squad

this is nitpicking but:

aerial threat up front, could be better. dzeko's not as good as i thought he'd be with his head

a long passer, i hope javi garcia's passing range is decent though, would've loved to keep pizarro

CB backup, again i hope nastasic is good but we don't know how he'll fare just yet

Sell the entire squad and buy Falcao. :D

Sometimes a player is so good that it's worth making room in the team for them. This lad falls into that category for me.

I had this really strange dream about the transfer window.....

Khuldoon announced that as the City fans know best, we would be given the job of deciding transfers. So we all got together and voted to trust the management and wait and see how the new signings settled in before voting who to buy and sell next window.......reallly weird!

Anyone else think a cheeky little bid for Gerrard would be a good idea?
He's got to realise this is his last few chances to win the Premiership and that it's impossible to do so with Liverpool.
He's got the long range of passing and vision that we lack.
We really benefited from this last year in the few appearances Pizarro made. He'd be perfect with Yaya, controlling the flow of the passing and allowing Yaya to make those deadly central runs. He's also got a cracking long shot and is Premiership proven, experienced and a good leader.

Plus, it'd really fuck the rags off.

I'd like to see Martin Kelly brought in,he's fantastic on the ball, reads the game superbly, strong in the challenge and, being 6'3 can do an excellent job across the defence.

Why not,he's an improvement,at 22,on Zaba and Maicon and given Micahs horrendous injury record.......
