I like the idea. There could be arguments that others from that 2012 team should have had one, but it is what it is. It's no secret our fans see these 3 as the 3 who are the most iconic. I hear the Yaya argument, but I don't know. It's a tough call I suppose.

I hope we don't replicate the 'trinity' one at the skip, with the 3 of them arm in arm. I hope it's separate. Kompany that goal v United. Silva with the salute to the fans with his goal during the 6-1, and there's no point me saying the pose for Aguero, as we all know what that should be!

I agree those 4 (including Yaya) were the driving force of that era. I'd erect Statues for all 4. While I think Yaya sullied things with his whiny attitude, I'd still erect a statue for him.

The club need not be aspetty as Yaya. He was instrumental on the field. But Aguero, Dave and Komp certainly.

I'm not sure that would be sensible. I personally think a statue should be reserved for players of only the very, very top tier of ability (sorry Pablo), who had a huge impact over the course of at least 5+ seasons (sorry Yaya).

I also think putting up a statue of a man who has repeatedly called our current (and best ever) manager a racist is incredibly disrespectful to Pep.

Thing is, you can barely pick between Kompany, Agüero and Silva. There's very little between them in the eyes of most City fans, so either they all get one or none of them do. That justifies all three getting a statue to me but I don't think we really want to be putting up too many.

I'd go Agüero celebrating his goal against Liverpool, Kompany's celebration vs West Brom away when he jumped onto the advertising boards and Silva with a ball at his feet.

Don't think I'd put them just on each side of the stadium. I'd want each of them somewhere unique that maximises how many people will see it.

I think the three should be together............. just outside entrance P for the Colin Bell Stand would be ideal for me, then I could stroke their feet each time I arrive for a match!!! ;-)

I have an issue with statues.

I have no doubt that the 4 mentioned are all deserving but I would wait a few years. Maybe let the fans vote once every 10 years. It should not be the norm that you win a title or two and you have to work out who gets the statue. Is KDB half way there? What if Foden scores the winner in a CL final - what if Marhez scores a hatrick. We could end up with a full 11 in bronze.
