When Tottenham started the season so well, a tiny part of me wanted them to actually go on and win the league, just for the bantz.

There is a bit of me that feels sorry for him in his doomed quest for silverware. One would think a move to Bayern would guarantee at least one pot. Then I think of his bank account and that bit of sympathy vanishes in an instant.
To go from being linked to us, Pep managing him and a place in a squad that definitely guarantees pots, to staying at Spurs and now a pot less campaign at a super club.

I feel a little sorry for him. He’s not a ****, or an egomaniac, and clearly has been poorly advised by his brother (agent) and misled by his previous Chief Executive (Levy). He was pretty loyal to Spurs too when others with his talent wouldn’t have been.
He‘s clearly an unsophisticated, pretty dim individual who is ill-equipped for the vipers’ nest that is modern football - and I don’t therefore think he deserves ridicule. It’s hardly a tragedy, given he’s healthy and what he’ll earn over his career, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t worthy of a little sympathy for the poor choices he’s made, given the circumstances under which he made them.

I don't mind Harry Kane at all, I actually feel a bit sorry for him that he scores numerous amounts of goals every season that count for absolutely nothing other than personal achievements.
To be fair to him you rarely ever see him coming out in the media saying this or that, He just gets on with playing football.
It wasn't his fault last night that they got dumped out of the Champions League, Bayern had one foot in the final when Kane was taken off so the rest was out of his control.
I still wish he stayed in England, It would have been interesting see him going for Shearers record. Realistically the only player that can beat that record now is Haaland if he stays around for a number of years.
