The Labour Party

Still with the dissimulation.
I see it as a bigger picture issue. Internal machinations at Labour HQ, I am not denying anti Semitism existed, it does obviously and it will not matter how many times I say I find all forms of discrimination abhorrent especially anti Semitism it will no longer matter because of the guilt by association and you still haven't answered if you think I am anti semitic. Because if people such as yourself don't stand up for people like me then the situation is reversed and I become the voiceless and the harassed.

The Labour party has been ripping itself apart for a long time, it happens that this sadly is the issue that brings it down. Even worse it means virtually continual Tory Government for the rest of my lifetime.

Corbyn should start a breakaway party and those who believe in socialism, open borders, a united Ireland, anti-NATO and all the other things he believed in can join. He can take McDonnell, Abbott, Burgon, Butler, and others with him and see how popular they are electorally and whether he really did win the argument or whether it was just Brexit that was responsible for 2019. I suppose that's the beauty of democracy so if you are a Corbynite, not all is lost.
I am a Socialist, I don't believe in open borders, I am NATO sceptic, I believe Ireland should be one country when the people decide it should and I am a leaver. So your argument doesn't work, you are categorising the left incorrectly and putting us into boxes that simply do encompass all the different viewpoints.

I hope a new party of the Left is created, a proper Socialist party not a neo-liberal Blairite shit show party.

But there are those who won't dissociate themselves from some who were.

Don't claim to be anti-racist if you not only fail to recognise antisemitism, fail to condemn it, fail to disown those guilty of it and continue, in the face of independent evidence, to maintain it was nothing. Because then you show that you're very selective about being anti-racist. Not only that, you're minimising antisemitism and the impact it has on Jewish people.
I see the word 'you' is used a lot there. Where do I need to demonstrate the virtues you describe in order to pass your test? - I've been naively living my life for nearly 1/2 a century that by not being racist I wasn't being racist. If there is a form I can fill in send me a link and I'll do it this afternoon.

There could have been more nuance to my description but by the sounds of it, your politics fit far more closely to Corbyn's than Starmer's so if Corbyn sets up a new party then there will be plenty of votes out there for him including yours if you detest Starmer's politics.

Not all is lost for Corbyn.

Corbyn is done. Whether it's fair or not, he's now the face of Anti-semitism in the Labour party.

No one is going near him if he sets up a new party.

Not really and far too simplistic

I anin't a fan of starmer or the right of the party, but I certainly wouldn't join or vote for a new party lead by corbyn.

Corbyn is a paragraph in the history of the labour movemmet in the UK

Aye, when really he should be face that lost to the single worst Tory candidate I can remember, then got another go against an even worse candidate and got absolutely battered. That should be his legacy, not the anti-semitism stuff.

Labour can't function when significant chunks of it's old supporter base switched to the conservatives over Brexit.

Things need to be redrawn, they need to do an old school merger and reinvent themselves. This ties into what @BigOscar is saying about Labour losing to the most reviled Conservative party candidate in decades, and after 10 years of conservative rule that's been awful for most people.

It's just not a party capable of winning an election in 2020. We need a left of centre party without 100 years of shit baggage and preconceptions.
