it just put me of england and the so called best players in england sh*t
how could they pick theo walcott what a load of ball*cks

this summer i will not be looking forward to the world cup and see england getting beat by the USA and going out on pens
and then saying the players played to many games this season

this is the first time i will not plan to watch the world cup
i will just sit back and wait and see

maybe the press will not run a wall to wall we can win the world cup sh*t this time
just let it run without any hope

As a fifth striker with the others all fit it would have made sense. Taking him as a fourth striker when two of the other three were unfit is possibly the most bizzare selection in recent years.

did they drop JERMAINE DEFOE for theo walcott

i still think this world cup SWP will be the 1 to miss out
for walcott

and i can see both neville's brown carrick going

Iwas discussing this with a mate yesterday.
I believe Sven took Walcott because he didn't want anyone to pressurise Beckham. He knew that Walcott would not get a game, never mind a start.
Even with that decision, it was totally bizarre that he went to the World Cup with only one fit striker

my god if SWP misses out on the world cup, wonder what is his dad going to do???
Hole up in Lilleshall threaten to launch a "dirty bomb" on Lancaster Gate like Ed Harris in "the Rock"??

he'll blame city for messing him about. why wouldn't he?? everything has always been somebody else's fault throughout ian wright's life. oldham fans picking on him, england managers playing him out of position, schmeichel racially abusing him, now city picking on swp. now i love shaunny and will see him as one of the legends of our club when he finishes. however, just before christmas a mate of mine said all he does these days is push the ball past a full-back and run in to his back, fall to his knees and claim a free-kick. i argued the toss but decided to monitor this myself. guess what i found................

Glen Johnson is England's number one right back. If he's fit, he'll go.

Cappello knows the vast majority of his starting eleven if they're fit, however there are three places still up for grabs, keeper, right side midfield, striker

----------------?--------------

Johnson-----gobby---terry-----Cole

----------Barry----------

-?------Lampard------Gerrard

-------Shrek

---------?

I'd fill the gaps with David James, SWP and Zamora.

Would anyone here find a place for Beckham in their squad? If so, why?

There's no chance of Zamora going. Crouch would be in before him and Heskey.

I know. Crouch I can live with, his England goal record speaks volumes, but Heskey!! He can't head a ball, hold a ball up and he never looks like he'll score. I am totally perplexed why he gets into the England squad.

Heskey spends more time on his arse than he does on his feet, plus he's got the turning circle of an aircraft carrier. Should be nowhere near the national team (but then again neither should Beckham).
