For decades, Manchester City fans had little to shout about. Outsiders would say the club regularly shot themselves in the foot, but it was often more severe than that and with relegations, cup upsets and changes of manager becoming second nature, supporters turned to gallows humour to keep themselves going.
But then, under the stewardship of Roberto Mancini, the Blues climbed back to the right end of the league. The Italian changed the club from top to bottom, ending a 35-year trophy drought and winning their first title in nearly four and a half decades. He was the man who made it good to go to Eastlands every week. He was The Man Who Restored Pride.

Shamelessly self-promoting again, but in the run up to Christmas, if you buy directly from me and my website, I'm undercutting bookshops and Amazon quite significantly!
The Man Who Restored Pride is now £7.99 on its own (RRP £9.99).
Typical City is now £5.00 on its own (RRP £13.99)
Together they're £10.50 (where each individually would be £12.99 and the combined RRP would be £23.98.
All the info is on my website: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.davemooney.co.uk/books" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.davemooney.co.uk/books</a>
If you want to order for Christmas, you'll need to do it by the 17th of December so they can be distpatched!
Ta! :)
