I think today's events have left a very bitter taste in the mouth, we have replaced an inexperienced manager with another one with a typical Manchester City knee jerk reaction. I thought ADUG arriving at City would bring the stability we have craved but instead it looks as if we might turn into a power drunk mafia style mob who hire and fire at the drop of a hat.
I actually don't think I would be that upset if we were getting a proven experienced manager such as Gus Hiddink, I could then at least see the reasoning behind it but to get Roberto Mancini who has achieved absolutely nothing of value in football means we are jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Mark Hughes needed three years to mould the squad into the style and formation he wanted and he has been stopped halfway through doing a good job IMO, we have now gone back two years and have to start the process again with yet another manager who will want a new batch of players and so we are yet again no further on as a club.
I made an analagy earlier on this forum and I stick by it now, if we try to build a house and keep knocking it down just before we put the roof on we will never have a house. When will we learn as fans and as a club that we can't keep pressing the self destruct button.
Mark my words we will have a revolving door now at eastlands and will be swapping managers every six months, that kind of freakshow is the one thing the media were hoping to happen and they have got their way due to pure manipulation of some of the sheep types we have on this forum, I can only see unrest and heartache again for the next 30 years.
Very sad as we had the potential to build something good.
