It's Masters Week.

What does everyone think? Tiger looks to be in imperious form and back to his best with the putter in his hands, Rory looks to be in some form, but will an outsider be leading the field come Sunday evening?

I fancy Justin Rose, for some reason I think that someone unfancied is going to be right in the mix.

There's always someone unfancied in the mix but then I don't think Rose is that unfenced. In fact he might well now be the favourite to be the first English man to be a major winner since Faldo.

Bubba Watson is 40/1, Cabrera 100/1, Simpson 66/1. Some good ew value out there. Mcdowell decent at 66/1 too.

Still, Woods and Mc are obvious favourites.

He's just soooo yummy!

Tiger is still a good bet at just under 9/2
Had a nibble on him earlier in the year at a bigger price
Keegan Bradley will put up a good show,30/1 looks a decent price, also dustin johnson at 35/1

Woods is on a dif planet to the rest out there at the moment
And i expect him to nudge a major closer to the golden bear come sunday night.

Just stuck £1 on Justin Rose with Ladbrokes @ 16/1, not bad odds if I say so myself + £2 a draw tonight with Carlos scoring 2/1 & 9/4 Get in there.nobby_31

Tiger is a big shout for this
Cant see Rory winning this ever after that monumental collapse 2 years ago. That was one of the most painful things I have ever watched

Harrington was 66/1 with Paddy Power before the last tournament and is now at 55/1 so there is money for him. He normally does well there aswell a couple of top 10 finishes so might be worth a each way bet depending on the odds at big money. Done well at the weekend too.
Tiger is the man to beat. Dont think Rory will win it either. Not comfortable with his new clubs. 1 good week doesnt mean he is back he needs to back it up again. Getting used to the new clubs was always going to take time and thats this. This major may have come too soon for Rory but by the British Open he will be battling for the title no doubting. As for the rest GMac swings and roundabouts with him if he can get together his game for the 4 rounds he has a chance but we havnt seen GMac do that for some time.

For the rest I think Ian Poulter has the best chance out of the others and will be there or abouts. Just think the pressure on some of the players to win 1 by the British public and media is crazy. Thats what has got Westwood for years in contention and seems to just bottle it. Westwood will go down like Monty as 1 of the greatest players never to have won a major. Think he will be there or abouts but will miss out too. Donald I like Luke think he will win a major by the time he is finished and he has every chance in this 1 for me him and Poulter I will be looking at doing either 1 whoever is the greatest odds this week to be honest if not both.

I know Cookie mate. My dad was going to put a bet on him each way and I told him to wait until Wednesday as that wasnt value. Think his putting isnt good enough to win a major just yet. Saying that if hes in contention on the last day then it wouldnt shock me to see him in the top 5.

You'd have to give me 8400/1 and a guinness to make me even a tad interested. It's almost as obvious as the other ten or so saying they fancy Adam Scott this week ;)

Come on Leighton, a couple of top tens is nowhere near good enough for Paddy at the masters. How many attempts as he had? 20? For 4 or 5 of those he'd have been considered one of the top 5 players in the world.

McDowell is a much better ew value bet.

Had a free £10 from Coral so I've put it on Mickleson @ 10/1

I'll be backing him and Bubba again. I always go for the left handers as I think the courses are built to hamper right handed golfers.
