3 years ago I would have broke the bank (piggy bank obviously :) for him but the pace and physicality of todays premiership games would be too much for him.
 
If City have the finance to get Messi then put it to better use in bringing Koulibaly in or a world class defensive midfielder like Kante.

If City had played Barcelona with Messi in it, we'd have all fancied our chances partly because they are a dysfunctional side whose crown jewel's game no longer justifies them centring their game around him.
 
So who do we drop for him? Which younger prospect do we piss off for him? 4 years too late, also blues you won’t even get to watch him live this year if he does come, fans aren’t coming back any time soon.

It isn't the same finance and isn't available for other players, it wouldn't affect other players coming in.
