The millwall of the media

What a great article, one the media, rags and even neutrals would find it hard to rebut.. Says it all in a few paragraphs, as for the City and Leicester comparison when they were playing the rags, not seen that before but its utterly lamentable.. All we can do is keep being successful, I doubt there will be a step change in attitudes toward our club any time soon, haters will always hate..!

Superbly written by a very talented writer. But I don't think it went far enough. It should have quoted specifics.

For example the BT Sport presenter's quote about being pissed off that City did well. The "Emptyhad" jibes should have been dealt with using hard statistics that show our attendance is higher the Liverpool have ever achieved in their history.

The tone of the article seemed more like a casual observation that City get a bit of a rough ride in the media, whereas it would have had more impact if it was written giving conclusive evidence that we are treated differently.

Really enjoyable article. I thought the points chosen were well-considered and avoided a lot of the silliness written on this forum.

Like Shael I think a bit more quantitative evidence could have been produced. The money United have spent, comparison of attendances and percentage of seats sold. Still a goid read.

In simple terms, it's because our owner is a muslim, nothing more, nothing less than outright bigotry.
