Some interest was thrown out there for this so I went ahead and started it up. The season is already a game in, but I figure this might give some people a chance to watch some football over the summer when things get dry football wise. Over the last few years the standard of football in the MLS has increased and is still moving forward. I am at work right now, but I will start posting some team bio's and information to try and give a good background on teams and players you might want to look out for while watching. If anyone keeps up pretty well with a specific team feel free to volunteer.

Shaping up to be a good season and the support for these teams are growing every year.

From the couple games I've seen already this season it seems like the standard has risen a bit since the last. I went to quite a few Galaxy games last year and they were all enjoyable. That being said, I grew up in Northern California so 'my team' (I've really only started watching the MLS in the last 2 or 3 years although I went to a lot of Earthquakes games growing up) is the Earthquakes who looked great in their opening match. Really hope they can kick on and make the playoffs this season. I'm gonna try to go to a bunch of matches in the coming months as I'm back up near San Jose so hopefully I can give some insight on the squad.

I want to follow a crap team.

Who should it be?
Follow Toronto. We've been crap for the 5 years of our existence, but we're starting to rise up now. Should be fun seeing if we can grab a playoff spot this season.

The MLS is broken up in to two conferences, the Eastern Conference, and the Western Conference. We will start with the Eastern Conference.

The defender that spent 8 years with Hertha Berlin was brought in after just 15 appearances for Wolfburg this past season. No doubt the 32 year old was looking for a final payday.
