After the events of yesterday, I'ts time to put things in perspective. Yes, we dipped out in injury time in a game with nowt between the two teams. And Spurs are now in the driving seat after their win, But we've had a fantastic season and it is far from over, fourth spot is still in our own hands. These coming games are going to be crucial. So, come on! EVERYONE GET POSITIVE AND GET RIGHT BEHIND THE BOYS AND WE'LL DO IT!!!

About time we had a bit of common sense, it's the main reason I stayed off here last night. Have to deal with enough knobs during the working week.

Yeah, already posted a thread 'bout RatFaceTwat kissing the Ginger Pig that had already appeared sometime in the early hours.

It's three points gone that were never a given, and who'd have thought Spuds would have six points from the Arse and the RentBoys?

The possibility of 4th is still there. We need a repeat of yesterday's support in the two remaining home matches.

Well said that man, time for eveybody to calm down
I was calm yesterday, never has a derby defeat hurt me as little as that one. We only lost a point, UTD won't win the league but for me the bigger picture is our position in the league.

No one gave spurs a hope in winning those last two games, but fair play to them...... now we have to go and be positive when we play at Arsenal, not sit back. We are all gutted about yesterday but they have beat us 3 times this season, all last min goals. Scum played with Ginger bollocks as a sweeper yesterday, so that shows me that Taggert showed some respect for us yesterday, he got his tatics spot on!!! we did'nt but it shows how far we have come, when a scum team comes to our ground playing a defensive game.

So be positive and lets enjoy the next 4 games.... we have not been in this postion for a long time, and i have to admit i never thought i would see the day City were fighting for the top four instead of the bottom bloody four.

Posted on here yesterday that we need to be within 2 points of spurs when we play them, considering they are at the Scum on saturday this is a distinct possibility. It is still in our own hands anything gained at the emirates will be a bonus.

Well i woke up with tourettes and a new condition my mrs calls 'football related sigh'.
Random shouts of "FUCK" and "BOLLOX" when i'm having a shower or walking the dog interspersed with a very weary 'Hmmphh' on the hour.
The sighing is getting better though as last night it was happening every ten minutes, and even in me sleep!

PISS..

It's funny at yesterday game I looked at the rags ageing
team and ours and the way the rags had set there team up
defensive a bit like everton(thought everton were the best team
I've seen at our place this season) and thought how long are
they going to rely on old players to get them there wins? Give
it two years and we will be top dogs in Manchester. Win our last
3 games and 4th is ours anything from arsenal is a bonus

It's simple really - we win all of our remaining games and we finish 4th. However, my confidence in achieving that is low. We have too many players on the fringe of the team who are either past it (Viera, RSC), lost it (SWP, Ireland) which severely affects our chances of changing things if plan A isn't working. We therefore rely on the 'first 11' to do the job week in week out and some of them will inevitably let us down from time to time. We're vulnerable to high balls into the box because Given isn't big enough or commanding enough and our defence don't seem to know how to 'get tight' to wingers so the supply into the box is always there.

I was thinking, is it 'too soon' for us to finish 4th, but if it's not us, it's Spurs and I can't believe they are better than us.

Lose next week and the chances are that we will be caught by the scousers as well before the end of the season - although I think we can bank on Utd doing us a favour with Tottenham.

All in all, very, very disappointing and it's 'same old City'.

+1

Normally i'd be gutted today after a derby loss and the fact i think Utd will now win the league but i don't, i feel optimistic instead......have i banged my head or taken drugs i don't know about ?

nobody can accuse me of being positive but i have never waivered. this is and always will be my club, warts an all

I thought I was doing all right this morning, til I went to the paper shop and called a complete stranger a 'fat ugly twat' for smiling at that pic of ratboy kissing that ginger bastard.

I'm staying in today or there'll be trouble.
