The new City Programme

If they keep to this new format I won't be buying anymore, simply because with the old one you could fold it and put it in your pocket.
With this new format it's just too bulky rolled up.

That was my initial thought but folded it left to right & it still fits in my pocket no problem.

I agree with Fordyboy46 that the content now isn't as good as in the past but it still gives me something to read on the long trip back home and worth £3 for that.

So small it will soon vanish for good. City's programmes have been poor for a number of years now, pretty decent from 2000-10, but the design and features these last five or six years are awful. Does anyone still bother buying these or just find them a waste of time?
Its got 84 pages the same as its been for donkeys years, has the same content. All they`ve done is made it into a landscape format instead of a portrait edition.
Can`t understand your criticism ?

It is the same shape as about 1984 I think - when it was 20p in the second division. It’s a nice change I think
Yes I noticed the landscape format and remembered that format from the Billy McNeill era. I haven't bought one for a few years now - no room for them I must have about a thousand at home as it is.

I'd like to see them go back to the old A5 Portrait stapled version with about 16pp. Drop a lot of the advertising and irrelevant bullshit (especially Marc Riley's drivel) and concentrate the content on the game in hand.
