My mates a big QPR fan and has been raving bout this kid Raheem Sterling for a while.
Only 14 and playing with England U-16s, Jim Magilton has called him up to train with the first team at QPR. Apparently amazingly skillful and quick, always wanting the ball and always tries to do something with it when he gets it. When Rooney broke through at such a young age it was because he was physically a man at 16, whereas Raheem is still very light and slight but possesses very, for want of a better word, Brazilian-like skills.
Hope he continues to develop to be the great player he promises to be and maybe wears the blue of City one day.

Jack Rodwell-cue gollum shouting "not for sale" all through January leading to a ridiculous auction at the end.

Uncanny - I was talking to a girl I work with only yesterday who's hubby is something to do with the Crewe youth set-up and she said to me, watch out in the next couple of years for a kid at QPR called Sterling!

There's a lad in my school who was playing for City under 16s last year despite being just under 14s. He's good but to be honest he's not leagues apart from everyone else. He's built like a tank though.
