Keep an eye on the feed. When it hits red then there is a good chance.

It’s red about 7 but dropped off a bit now.

Don’t expect a brilliant Photographic experience wherever you go -cos I’ve been up the Arctic numerous times and it’s often just flashing lights etc to the naked eye. Obviously

Mrs 85mcfc has just text me to say she wants to drive somewhere tonight to see if we can get a good view of them.

I'm sure there are plenty of people on here far more intelligent than me that might be able to give me a few ideas? Or is the Mrs pulling my leg...

Damn, can't imagine how beautiful an aurora would look against snow covered streets.

I've seen them here several times but to be honest one of the best ever displays was probably mid to late seventies in England, East Midlands of all places. I came back from the pub and remember waking my mother up to come out and watch them.
