its 100% by design it’s just me personally I seriously can’t watch some things or have to fast forward those bits
I worked with training providers for the jobcentre for 15 years and the character writing in the office is spot on, not just the Brents either, but there were far too many Brents than there should have been. As i'm sure N/W clubland had its fair share of Potters and Perry's

Phoenix Nights for me

Here's some of the outtakes :-)

Plus the full Clinton clip :-)

Must be a lot of northern bias here. Office all day. As somebody else mentioned Peep Show is a gem too.
Re-watched all of Partridge again recently which is also gold.

I love both but it's Phoenix Nights for me, helped by having happy memories talking about it going to the game at the weekend and having a chat with Kenny Dalglish Senior in the South Stand !!! Also, that Clinton Baptiste episode, just fuckin hilarious....

The Office all day long, every time you watch it, you see something different. It’s a masterpiece.

Phoenix Nights was pretty good though, and I think by far the best thing Peter Kay ever did.

Now, let’s not talk about the American version of the office, because that was absolutely dreadful

My favourites are (in no particular order):
Only Fools
Early Doors
Phoenix Nights
Royle Family
I always thought Early Doors was better than the Royle family, even though I like the Royle family. Extremely underrated I think, and I’m surprised how many people haven’t seen it.

The only thing I didn’t like about Royle family was it got progressively more stupid and less realistic, especially the one-off specials they did later on. they turned Dave into some weird idiot, instead of the dim but fairly normal bloke he was at the very start.
