LOL tottenham withdrew because they played UNDER Aged players

Great tournament win.

Am i right in saying that Jim Cassell and/or Khaldoon have said in the MEN in the past that this U17 was a promising group? It's full of local lads as well who have plenty of England international caps, add Pozo, Lopez to that and it's one very exciting team.

Hiwula sounds very promising indeed.

Just seen the highlights of the EDS 8-0 win against Stockport .

What a waste of time and an embarrassment that was, when are we going to see some real test for our youngsters, all the celebrations were mooted, what a waste of a year it has been for some of those players.

There should be laws against the level of ownage Roman and Suarez laid on Stockport.

Would love to see how these guys would fare against real opposition. Wonder if/when they will break into the first team..
Pity seeing Hargreaves playing in the reserves..is he still not fit yet?

Al Ain Junior Championship

Manchester City 2 Inter Milan 0

Rusnak
Mihailov

Man. City won AIFJC2012 after winning their fourth match successively which was against Inter Milan 2-0 in Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium.
Man. City scored one goal in the first half by Albert Rusnak 30’, and added Sefarim Mihalo 81’ the second goal. This completed the full mark for Man. City 12 points while Inter comes third with 4 points after Valencia and Al Ain.
English Control
The English team controlled the match from the beginning and waged many attacks through Jordy and Albert against Inter Milan but the GK and the defense aborted them. Also Inter. Milan made some attacks but they were not that strong except that shot by Ismail Banghour which passed acute the bar.
First Goal
Albert Rusnak 30’ rom Man. City scored for his team from a low strong shot rested in net. Later the two teams tried but no goals scored until the first half ended.
Second Goal
The same scenario repeated in the second half and nine minutes before the end of the match the English Sefarim scored for his team again from a strong shot rested in net.
Man. City:

Angus Gunn, Shay Facey, George Swan, Courtney Meppen, George Leigh, Thomas Agyiri, Serafim Mihailov, George Glendon, Jordy Mayifuila, Albert Rusnak, and Jose Pozo.

'Who is Serafim Mihailov ?'

Bulgarian striker we took on trial in January, perhaps made it a permanent move now.
