For all of us who cannot be arsed to read through the masses of pages on the Tevez, Eto'o, Lescott etc. threads, this thread is designated to bring every up to date with any developments. I suggest it become a sticky...

Right, for all those who didn't know:

IN:
Gareth Barry from Aston Villa
Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn Rovers
Stuart Taylor from Aston Villa

OUT:
Daniel Sturridge to Chelsea
Jo (loan) to Everton
Joe Hart (loan) to Birmingham City

RELEASED:
Darius Vassell
Didi Hamann
Michael Ball
Danny Mills
Glauber Berti

RUMOURS: IN
Carlos Tevez - Turned down a contract with Manchester United. Agent said that the only two clubs interested were City and Chelsea, with him hinting towards City being the more likely destination. Numerous rumours knocking about on the internet that he has already signed and it is a done deal, but as yet he has been a free agent since the 1st July and no comment has been made apart from Mark Hughes saying that he would like to sign him.

Joleon Lescott - Signed a new contract last summer with Everton. Word is he is keen to come, yet Everton are reluctant to sell. Rumours started in January about him but became stronger in the last few weeks of June. Only official comments to come out were from David Moyes awhile back saying they would not like to sell him.

Samuel Eto'o - One year left of his current deal with the European champions, Barcelona. A bid was made a few weeks back, and Mark Hughes has expressed his desire to get him, yet nothing seems to have progressed in the past 10 days.

John Terry - A bid turned down by Chelsea last week. The new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelloti said in his first press conference that John Terry was not for sale. No official word from the player yet, as he is still on holiday. Apparently, he is un happy with the situation at Chelsea (?) and will be handing in a transfer request when he returns to the UK. But that is purely speculation from online sources.

Lucio - The Brazilian defender has been a star at Bayern M*nich for many years, and according to the German press, he might be joining us for a fee of 8 million Euros. More to come with this one...

OUT
Richard Dunne - Our club captain keeps on being rumoured to be leaving the City of Manchester Stadium, with destinations such as Tottenham, Stoke and Sunderland looking to be favourites to land him.

Benjani - Svens final buy looks set to leave City and go to either his old club Portsmouth, or team up with his ex boss at Tottenham.

Valeri Bojinov - The Bulgarian striker has mentioned a number of times that he wants to return to Italy at some point, and if our proposed transfers go through, then it would look very unlikely for him to become a regular at City. West Ham have also been linked with him in the past.

Felipe Caicedo - The much improved young striker may be off for a years loan abroad. Sporting Lisbon was a name that came up recently.

Craig Bellamy - City outbid Tottenham for the West Ham player in January, so it was an obvious rumour for the papers to make up that he may go to Spurs after all.

Gelson Fernandes - The 'energetic midfielder' appears to be off to another club with Bolton apparently looking to buy him, but now they have said they are no longer interested.

Elano - The Brazilian playmaker has been linked with a move to Inter Milan, but that seems to have quietened down a lot in the last few weeks.

Ched Evans - Rumoured to be set for the Championship.

Yeah, good idea, the other threads have been merged to the point of being useless.

TRAINING REPORT . Tegernsee 080709

Sorry cant find anywhere to post this and I wanted to before I leave work and head home for my flight to Manchester and pie and pies in Heald Green....

Hello all, amongst all the fun and fiction, here are some FACTS to brighten up your day. I spent this morning in Rottach watching City train. Thought Id lucked out when noone was there at 10:30, lazy lot, still in bed or munching on a good breakfast. Then Eddie Ned and Hitchcock turned up for a quick chin wag and to set up the field.

Just before 1100 the rest of the squad turned up. To quell many of the rumours these are the players who WERE there.

Stuart Taylor, Clayton Mcdonald (big lad!) Kasper Schmeichal, Pablo Zabaleta, Javier Garrido, Vincent Kompany, Michael Johnson (even bigger lad, my god whats happened to him!) Stevie Ireland, Gelson Fernandes, Paul Marshall, Martin Petrov, Kelvin Etuhu, Valeri Bojinov (wow - he looks trim now, dont think hes eaten anything since May! Looks sharp as nails too) Ched Evans, Craig Bellamy, Benjani, Vladimir Weiss, Ryan McGivern, Ben Mee....there were some others who I didnt recognise (perhaps that German lad from Schalke??) Interesting bits and bobs.. * Boji looks real fit and has gained 2 yards of pace, he got mad and shouted at anyone who didnt give him the ball. Eddie Nedz had to tell him to calm down or hell get injured!!! * Vince Kompany was grouped with the defenders. they were playing a training game and he was at the centre of all the ploys from the back. A sign of where hell play next year??? * Michael Johnson, looks less fit than he did last year, and that is saying something. Much work to be done to save this talent.

All in all the lads seemed to be enjoying it, and it was a regular hard training sesh but nothing like a boot camp whatsoever. The new training gear looks tops though!!!

There was NO Richard Dunne (nothing sinister I dont think, probably something to do with the WC Qualifiers, as Shay wasnt there either) However didnt Ireland play Bulgaria?? So why were Boji and Martin there???

There was no Caicedo, England U21s Micah and Ned, and Confed Cup lads Elano and Robinho were also missing. No SWP or Bridge, did the England lads get a few days extra off too?? There was NO sign of Tal Ben Haim whatsoever.

And that was it...not much time to chat with the players, they were "at work" as Hughes would say.

BTW its ALL OVER the German press about Lucio signing for City for 8 Million EUROS. They say a delegation of City and Bayern met yesterday in Berlin to conclude a deal. Its on teletext and radio too. Bayern have since denied that a deal was complete. Loads of Bayern fans turned up at Tegernsee looking for him. He was NOT there, incase any rumours get circulated.

No much juicy gossip just hard facts Im afraid, but it may be of interest. I did get some cracking pictures, if the sun bouncing of Irelands head didnt ruin the piccies.

Cheers
