What are people's thoughts on it? It constantly gets labelled the best in the league but is that purely because of the layout and design which is pretty good as opposed to the content which imo is pretty poor?

CityTV is good but is it good because it is free? Would anyone pay for the video content on there?

The Academy and EDS section is non existent, no information on any players, there is no player profile for Suarez or Evans etc but then again it shouldn't be no surprise when the first team players pics are still in last season's kicks when we are 3 days away from being in November.

I think it could be a lot better if a lot of the small things were done properly.

Those things that aren't there though, they don't really matter. The stuff that matters, coverage, layout, highlights etc. are all spot on.

I suppose you'd view it from what you want from it. The things on there at the moment, what the media say, match highlights etc i don't particularly need. I like to see stats, player information and ticket news more than anything.

There is an EDS profile page but it's outdated and I can't find a link for it on the main site, only through Google which is strange or me missing something obvious.

I think the site is generally good but could improve, we are the only top club now who does not offer fans live coverage of academy and reserve games I think. There should at least by now be an addon option to season tickets and subscription option for others to watch live streaming of games if offering them for free is not plausible. United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool all show them, not sure about Spurs and others.

The official app is really poor considering it isn't free, don't think it's even had any real updates since it launched and still can't see an iPad optimised version of it (just iPhone which I don't have). The new matchday programme app is fantastic though.

Layout and look - class, best football website I've been on
Content - average especially reserves/academy which is really poor like you said no player profiles or anything on the management.
CityTV - Can't really say anything bad about it, Inside City is pretty good and its free. Just wish they would stream reserve and academy games even if it would cost a little.

Agree with all of that, the site has just gone mobile which is a lot better if you just need to quickly view something.

CityTV is absolutely belting. I've always felt the rest of it completely lacks substance.
