The outrage at our owner...

Football fans can really be fickle at times... our owner & club itself has been slated from the day we got took over. But, just think... two teams in one City, one has a rich owner who is pumping millions of pounds of his own money into the game and bringing some of the greatest players to walk this earth to the premier league, the other owner... has taken millions of pounds out of a club to pay off his own debt.

And which one is everyone more outraged at? Correct... The one pouring money into the game.

All I hear everyday is "Uefa need to step in and stop them". Fucking bunch of retards, if there is anything in the game that needs investigating... it's ticket pricing and the way younger players are exploited by agents.

/rant over.

Best owner in the world. Every other club would love to have our Sheikh as their owner, even if they'll never admit it.

He's done incredible things for the club and for Manchester itself. Can't thank him enough.

All the hate directed towards him and city is ignorance and jealousy.

anyone that calls us Oil FC or Abu Dhabi City are simply jealous HRH picked our club instead of theirs.

When you consider where we were and where we are, let alone where we might end up, it's simply breathtaking. But it's a truism that every other club's fans would willingly, swiftly and with the greatest delight, swap places at the speed of light.

My renegade Evertonian offspring texted me last night at midnight to say that with the departure of Our Tata (now The Arse's Tata) he was officially a City fan. I have to await news that he has shed a tear for SWP going to QPR before it's official for me!

Edited: 08.45. He sez he's gutted about SWP but at least he has Aguero, Tevez and Balotelli with which to console himself.

I think he's trying to con us - he hasn't mentioned Silva!

Couldn't agree more, imagine how boring this season would be if it wasn't for City. The rags would probably romp home by 10-15 points. We are making the league more compeitive not less so.

I know, we've kicked off a very exciting arms race. Most of the people who complain we are ruining the league are those who have a team fighting for the champions league spots, i.e. liverpool, arsenal and spurs supporters. Personally I don't hear much complaining from mid table fans, if anything I think one or two agree it's made the league more interesting.

'Mid-table' teams don't have a chance of winning the Premiership, whether City are up there or not. It's just the other supposed top clubs who don't like it when someone else joins in.

Stuff the lot of them and lets enjoy a glorious goal-fest of a season, and I'll 'just love it, I tell you, I'll love it' when we we top the table at the end of season, beating the rags twice along the way. I can feel our time has come.

You mean the clubs that forced the FA to authorise the premier league to break away from the Football League so that they could keep more of the TV money?
Or the sides that along with some other european sides seen the business model and forced Eufa to ditch the Cup Winners Cup and devalue the Champions League to allow second, third and even 4th place finishers into the greed is god league?

Oh, sorry we are talking about the same clubs that thought their gravy train would run for ever as they had more income than the rest and therefore could always afford the best players and biggest squads, no talk of a "level playing field" by redor blue dippers then.

Most fans who direct comments towards our owners are just jealous and narrow minded.

As we know, the clubs owners have in the past seen chance to make money and exploited this.
As seen with the creation of The Premier League, Sky Money.

Football has for a long time, way before I was born, been about business,
making a profit from a very loyal customer base.

The sooner the knuckle draggers realise this the sooner they will realise what their club is really about, and what their owners have always been about.

ADUG are using City as an investment, they don't buy Aguero thinking: The club will make money off him.
They buy Aguero thinking: this guy will create more awareness of the club which intake will generate more business for key brands such as Etihad and in future may generate more awareness of abu dhabi and so on.

We are just a wheel in our owners vehicle, we are a publicity machine.
