This is a disaster now. The turf that came up from when Jesus fell into the Leeds defender was shocking.

First 10 minutes, players lost their footing 7 times? Something not right.

It has been said before the pitch was due to be relayed end of last season couldn’t happen. The pitch will have a shelf life which has obviously passed nothing can be done about it

Lots of players slipping today - including their keeper for our goal

If he hadn’t slipped we wouldn’t have scored. Torres scuffed it :-(

It's a desso pitch which has a life span. It was due to be changed/rebuilt at the end of last season.
Due to only a few weeks between seasons there wasnt time to do this.
Its due to be replaced at the end of this season. So theres not alot that can be done, the pitch has come to the end of its life.
As annoying as it is I am sure the ground staff are doing their best.
The problem was out of Citys hands due to the pandemic.

I was expecting the gopher from Caddyshack to stick its head out of the turf today. Pitch looks awful.

Nothing to do with the pitch today, just a shit performance and team selection.
At least we don’t need to moan about the pitch for the next 5 games
