If ever a fallen giant needed a full house to bring some noise it was last night, like it or not for them this was the biggest home game of the season & some of the fans took their ball home.

One of the best atmospheres I remember at Maine Rd was the semi final against Wigan. Strange from the Sunderland fans but modern football is expensive.
